RIBBON BOX

Got my For Keeps magazine today and I'm really happy with the way my ribbon box has come up. They did an awesome job photographing it! You can find it on page 76 if you get the mag.

We're off very early tomorrow morning and I still haven't packed. It's going to be such a long night.

What a fabulous day it's been! Took my six for some more shopping. Have you checked out PumpkinPatch lately, so many great bargains. My favourite buys were this pink jumper and coat for Zazi. Rani is also showing off her new pink sweater. All the others did well too but I did the best. Woohoo!!! Bought myself a brand new camera, finally. I've made do with this very basic Olympus one for a couple of years now and decided to upgrade today. It's an Olympus SP-55OUZ with a 18x optical wide zoom. It's got a 2.5in LCD which looks just so huge compared to what I had. Now I've got one day to learn how to use it. :) When we got home from shopping I found this gorgeous little parcel from Jo and Rosie from 3Angel Scrapping in the mail. It was a yummy little box of chocolates wrapped ever so beautifully just for completing a challenge!!! I ate them all straight away. *blush* I just can't resist chocolate. Thank you girls. You are the best!!!

In front of my door I also found a pizza box from LIME TART , a Gourmet Tart, I won the other day. Wow, what great products to play with. This is what I came up with this arvo but there is still heaps of stuff left to do at least another couple of layouts. Sorry about the bad photos. It was already dark when I finished it and I just couldn't wait until tomorrow. :) I made the little envelope out of a bit of double sided Crate paper and some chipboard frames that came with the kit. I'm right into big flowers at the moment, they are so quick and effective.

Only 4 more sleeps, Yikes! I'm not at all organised. I played Monopoly against Toby today and WON!!! Woohoo, Toby ALWAYS wins at Monopoly so I did a little happy dance. Also did some sewing with Zazi today. I was surprised how easily she picked it up. The jacket is a bit tight on her new Babyborn so we are going to make a slightly bigger one tomorrow. 

HOLIDAY BLISS

Not having to rush around in the morning.

Not having to make lunches.

Not having to drop off and pick up all day long.

Holidays! I so love holidays, love having all the kids at home.

I went shopping with all six of them today. Interesting! Everyone of them had a different agenda and was chasing something. A lot of $$$ later, everyone seems happy.

I had some, as my friend Tassie Deb would say, FANTABULOUS news today. (Isn't she just the best? If you know her I'm sure you agree!!!) Anyway, I'm excited and terrified at the same time, I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's how I feel, LOL. All will be revealed soon. I know,I hate it when people do this to me, too! Sorry, lol !!! :)

Today I started to get all our ski gear out. We have ski gear in every size, the kids just move into the next size every year. Works well when you have that many. Only 5 more sleeps and we are off to Falls Creek.

LOOK WHO IS ONE MINI ALBUM

I've finally finished Mali's album of her first birthday. I think I might add a couple more pages later but for now I've had enough. I've used some transparency ribbon but it's hard to spot in the photos.

I took my boys clothes shopping yesterday. Big mistake to take them together. Whenever one found something he liked the other would make some silly remark. In the end I sent one to the Lego aisle while we found clothes for the other and then swapped over. Everybody was happy. Only 6 days before we go on holidays, yeah!

GOURMET TART

I'm so excited to have won a "Gourmet Tart" from LIME TART just for leaving a comment on their new blog. The kit put together by Marieke looks great, can't wait to get it. Can you tell that I'm excited?! LOL Thank you so much, what a great prize.

STILL FREEZING

Still freezing and still haven't finished my mini album, having too much fun today.

Tonight I was supposed to do a class with Kim Archer but I'm not at all organised and Mali's been really unsettled up till now so I'll have to do it tomorrow between birthday parties. I'm really excited about doing Kim's design which is titled '@ Home' and features flaps with photos hidden behind them. Looks fabulous.

Met up with some lovely friends for lunch today. We try to meet once a term as most of our kids are now at different schools. It's a great way to keep in touch. Also had to go to a subject selection evening, get the kids to piano and swimming and drop in at good friends of our's whose daughter has her Year 12 Formal tonight. She looked just sooo beautiful. FREEZING

It's freezing! Apparently today has been the coldest maximum temperature every recorded - a mere 5 degrees. Brrh! I had to take the two little girls to swimming and even though it's indoors and heated, it was unpleasant. The heaters just couldn't cope.

I even had to move my scrapping gear into the heated lounge. I'm working on a mini album about Mali's first birthday. I'll post it tomorrow when it's hopefully warmer.

Seriously, Mali is such a little monkey. She loves bananas and loooves to climb. Yesterday she climbed out of her cot at nap time. OMG! She's only 17 months old.
